The Academy for Migration Studies in Denmark (AMID)
has a Visiting Fellows Programme. The programme is open to researchers
from other universities or research institutes, who will be in residence
with AMID for anywhere between 1 and 4 months or for any other time
period agreed upon.
The successful applicants will be in residence at
Aalborg University. However, guest lectures and stays at the other
AMID partner institutions in Copenhagen and Aarhus may be arranged.
The AMID Visiting Fellows Programme is a research-oriented
offer, aiming to give fellows an opportunity to pursue their research
in a supportive scholarly environment. Fellows take part in seminars
and guest lectures organised by AMID and the School for Postgraduate
Interdisciplinary Research on Interculturalism and Transnationality
(SPIRIT). They are expected to give one or two oral presentations
of their work. Fellows may submit a paper to our series of working
papers. If both parties agree on it the fellows may undertake some
graduate student lecturing.
Please note that we do not
currently have any vacant AMID Fellowships.
