1983: Student at the University of Aarhus: Studies of Social Anthropology and Ethnography.

1995: Master of Social Anthropology, Department of Ethnography and Social Anthropology of Moesgård, Aarhus University and Music, Aarhus University. Master thesis: Cultural Identity formation amongst Turkish Immigrant in Denmark.
